International Security and national Resilience Conference and Exhibition ISNR 2010
The second session of ISNR comes at a time our national agencies have gained more practical experiences to organize specialized international conferences according to the best global standards.
We are inspired by the leadership of HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE, HH Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, their brothers Their Highnesses members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates and with a close follow up by HH General Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, for further achievements in this area.
UAE, due to the wisdom of its leadership is first of the countries that have paid attention to global security challenges and developments in today's world which witness great leap in security requirements. Therefore, our government worked very hard to create economic development and investment infrastructure in a secured environment, with latest security products and equipments, on one hand, and to maintain harmony with enhanced security strategy on the other hand.
"The vision of our Higher Leadership that shows us the way concentrates on continuous efforts to develop all security performance requirements, to enhance cooperation and coordination with world nations to follow up the latest developments, to exchange data and information about confrontation new trends of crime with high professionalism. Criminal activities have become more brilliant, developed and fast in execution. So we have to assure that no space is left for them to disturb our secured communities.
The technological developments which our contemporary world is witnessing have placed the world in front of challenges it had not faced before. The most important of this is to provide security for our communities in a time where new trends of organized crime have appeared as a result of globalization, economic and social openness, communications and information revolution leading to cyber and cross border crimes. Therefore, the Ministry of Interior has worked on the development of human abilities and provided them with advanced technology in order to take up the new challenges and to be able to fight them.
UAE (Thank God) is one of the safest countries in the world. This gift requires us all, individuals and institutions, to work very hard to maintain it and to ensure its sustainability.
The organizing of this conference and exhibition provides a valuable opportunity for all governments of the Region and other related sectors interested in security matters , to meet and exchange experience with the delegations and companies, in addition to reviewing the latest global systems and technologies in the field of security, safety and crime prevention.
We hope this security conference will achieve its objectives in terms of improving policing and security coordination and cooperation to meet the aspirations of the whole in facing modern crimes with necessary wisdom and knowledge, in a world characterized by accelerating strides and requires more joint cooperation to confront these challenges.
