Saif bin Zayed: Real belonging is inside and outside the country
HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior said belongingness must be both inside and outside the country.
HH has made this statement on honoring three citizens who returned a missing 3-year old girl (Fatima) home who found her in an Arab neighborhood in Thailand after two hours of her missing.
Colonel Hassan Rashid Al Breiki, Deputy Director of Traffic and Licensing at RAK, Abdullah Salim Khamis Al Shamaili, Inspector at RAK Economic Development Department and Abdul Aziz Suleiman Al Saroomi, an employee at the emirates Identity authority in RAK were the peoples honored for tracing the girl and returning her to her paperents.
HH thanked them for their national initiative of returning the girl back to her family. Now her family is at ease after their daughter had returned back to them. UAE nationals always set an example of social solidarity and cooperation. They are always ambassadors to their country by their values, traditions and norms.
The three nationals said “What we have done derives from our value which instilled in us by our late leader Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (May his soul rest in peace), and after him HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of UAE.”.
