New customer service center for Abu Dhabi Traffic department
Major General Mohammad bin al Awadhi al Minhali, Acting Director General of ADP GHQ Policing Operations has opened at ADP Directorate of Traffic and Patrols has opened a new customer service center. The new center has been set up within the framework of the comprehensive development strategy, in order to promote customer service to the best global practices and quality standards.
The opening ceremony was attended by Brigadier Omeir Mohammad Al Miheiri, Deputy Director General of Policing Operations, Colonel (Engineer) Hussain Ahmed Al Harthi, Director of Traffic and Patrols and a number of officers.
Al Awadhi affirmed in his opening speech ADP keenness to deliver best services to the public which were in line with best global practices and to world-class specifications.
He lauded the Directorate of Traffic and Patrols efforts in reducing the number of deaths and severe injuries resulting from traffic accidents. He urged them to continue this trend.
Colonel Al Harthi said “Abu Dhabi traffic works very hard to implement smart systems and to use the latest administrative methods to simplify services and promote them to best global practices”.
“The new service center adopts the technique of comprehensive employee, where the work is carried out by well qualified and skilled staff. All enquiries about violations and payment of fines are available at the center. The Directorate is keen to provide better services within short time. Each transaction will take around two to four minutes only. There is an digital system to maintain the order of arrival at the center by customers. There is a service to direct customers and assist them in completing their transactions and answering all their enquiries in order to save their time. The center working hours are from 07:30 to 21:00 hours”, added Al Harthi.
‘The center can accommodate 88 seats for customers and it has 14 counters to receive customers’ transactions, including monitors and calling system to notify customers to their turns of service. Priority will be given to persons with special needs and elderly people, in addition to a special service for women”, added al Harthi.
“To facilitate payment service the center is provided with credit card (Visa) system for payment of fines. All GCC States, Municipality (Mawaqif), Saaed fees and salik violations can also be paid at the center, in addition to other services including ATMs services”, added al Harthi.
