Workshop on training impact and behavioral outcomes

ADP has organized a workshop to measure the impact of training process and its outcome. The workshop was attended by Colonel Abdul Rahman Al Hamadi, Director of Forensic Evidence Department. The lecture was delivered by Major Abdul Rahman Al Tamimi, Head of Training Evaluation Section at the Directorate General of Human Resources.

The one-day workshop adopted Kirk Patrick Theory concerning the measurement of training process and its  impact on the trainees. The Theory identifies the strengths and weaknesses of the training plan and achievement of planned goals. The Theory is based on four levels; Reaction, Learning, Behavior and outcomes. The lecturer presented applied models for the four levels. Normally the Theory compares the change of trainee's behavior and work performance at the Unit or Organization levels before and after training.

A documentary showing training impact measurement steps and details of measurement forms. A group of discussion between the lecturer and audience was formed at the end of the workshop.
