The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigner Affairs in Sharjah called upon violators to seek settlement of their situations, according to legal procedures.

Brigadier Dr. Abdullah bin Sahoo, Director General of Residency and Foreigner Affairs in Sharjah, stated that the social media campaign launched by the Ministry of Interior, represented by the Department of Violators Follow-Up and Foreign Affairs, under the slogan "No To Violators," stresses the importance of cooperation from different sectors of society, both citizens and residents in addressing this detriment to the culture of society.

He added that this law violation has many negative effects and impacts on society, whether health-related, security, or social. In spite of this, the Ministry is dealing with this situation rationally within the tolerant Islamic religion teachings.

Bin Sahoo emphasized that the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigner Affairs in Sharjah set instructions for the Assistant Undersecretary for Naturalization Residence and Ports to help the violators seek settlement for their situations, or leave the State. The department pointed out that the public administration will apply those laws and regulations against violators, as they will continue their intensive inspection campaigns to control violators in the coming days; in cooperation and coordination with the concerned authorities in the Emirate of Sharjah.

He appealed to the public regarding the need to disallow such categories of labor; to make them subordinate to their illegal work for its social, health, and security dimensions, explaining that those workers have not undergone the necessary medical examinations putting family members at risk of various diseases.

He stated that in the event of any domestic irregularities or incidents or crimes, head of the family will not be able to report it since the worker illegal. Without any accurate data about the worker, it is  difficult to follow-up and prosecute. He urged them to contact 8008080 through the service "Contribute" to report these violators, valuing their precious efforts to maintain security and stability in the State.
