Abu Dhabi Police considered electronic crimes as trans-border crimes, affirming that its investigation personnel are highly trained to deal with such crime professionally.

Head of electronic crimes branch at Abu Dhabi Police CID, Major Omar Mohammed Al Tunaiji, said, “Abu Dhabi Police is implementing strategic initiatives to develop investigation skills for its staff, therefore they joined professional training courses inside and outside of the country, in partnership with advanced countries in this field.
 
On the sidelines of the 4 day-seminar currently organized by Abu Dhabi Police CID at the Holiday Inn in Abu Dhabi on the efforts made to fight electronic crimes, he added that Abu Dhabi Police is working to strengthen its partnership with the concerned sectors in the UAE and at the international level.
 
Eng. Ali Al Emadi, incidents and security risks response analyzer at the Communications Regulatory Authority, spoke about electronic crimes, quick response at electronic security incidents, and the stages of analyzing evidences and methods of preserving them.
 
Also Dr. Ibrahim Al Beqaili, head of advanced laboratory of researches and electronic crimes in the Zayed University, spoke about the digital evidences, how to diagnose the computer to retrieve electronic evidences at the electronic crime scene, as well as on the problems of investigating such crimes.
