At its second meeting, the Service Development Team at the Ministry of Interior discussed the work plan to develop services at the Ministry of Interior which include numerous policies and initiatives to develop services in general and customer services in particular.

Colonel Nasser Khadem Al Kaabi, Director of Customer Services Department at the Directorate General of Strategy and Performance Development at the Secretariat General of the office of H.H. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior who chaired the meeting, stated the main focus is on the importance of rehabilitating and training the major services team in all departments of the Ministry as per the standards of UAE Government Excellence Program.

He added that a time plan has been set up to train the Ministry’s Service Development team, until all customer and personnel service centers are enabled to be up to par with the UAE Government Excellence Program, and all services provided to customers in and outside the Ministry are developed.

Colonel Al Kaabi pointed out that the initiatives and programs launched by the federal government, in the domain of excellent customer service, and the development of services, help support federal ministries and institutions and motivate them to develop their capacities as well as find effective tools to all the services provided to customers.

The meeting also tackled the classification of services according to the requirements of UAE Government Excellence Program, alongside many relevant topics on the agenda.
