Abu Dhabi Police has launched an air ambulance medical transport system through the infectious disease incubator capsule through an integrated isolation system to transport patients suffering from infectious diseases, the first of its kind in the region and the country, as part of the precautionary measures taken in the uae to combat the Coved-19 pandemic.
Colonel Tayyar Obaid Mohammed Al-Shamili, Deputy Director of The Abu Dhabi Police Aviation Department in the Central Operations Sector, confirmed the interest of Abu Dhabi Police in keeping pace with developments and improving the development process in order to reflect the guidance of the wise leadership that provided support and capabilities to achieve the highest and best services in our society.
Major Dr. Ali Saif al-Barabe, aviation medicine specialist at Abu Dhabi Police, explained that the capsule is an integrated isolation system for transporting patients with infectious diseases from one health institution to another by air ambulance while ensuring that the infection is not transmitted to others or the staff supervising the treatment, pointing out that it can be used in the future for all types of infectious diseases.
