Ministry of Interior Umrah mission returns home
MoI Umrah Mission has returned home through Abu Dhabi International Airport onboard a special aircraft chartered by a gesture from HH General Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces after performing Umrah rituals during the holy month of Ramadan. The delegation was seen at Al Madina Airport by Major General Awadh Eid Sarhan, Director of al Madina Al Munawarah Police.
Brigadier Hamad Adel Al Shamsi, Chairman of MoI Hajj and Umrah Permanent Committee said “The mission consists of 385 of ADP employees and their families are in good health and they did not face any health problems in Saudi Arabia. The mission includes a medical team from ADP Medical Services to attend to medical needs of the mission members there”
“All necessary facilities have been provided for the mission members at the Saudi Arabia. They were housed in hotels adjacent to the two holy mosques in Mecca. Transport was also provided for them to take them from Mecca to Al Madina Al Munawarah. Thanks to our Higher Leadership and the attention they show towards MoI employees”, added Al Shamsi.
MoI mission has launched a 9-day spiritual programme for Umrah performers starting from Mecca, holy places and ending in Al Madina Al Munawarah. The mission has been well followed up by accompanying administrators who were keen to provide distinguished service to mission members.
A number of mission members lauded the gesture of HH General Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. They expressed their gratitude to HH for his generous gesture.
