Car number plate auction on Oct 27
The director of the department of privatization and financial investments at the General headquarters of Abu Dhabi police Lt.Col.Abdul Rahman Mohammed Ali Al Kamali announced that the Abu Dhabi police would organize an auction about 100 distinguished number plates at emirates palace hotel on October 27th at 10 am.
He said that the auction will be opened for all and registration would begin at 4 pm on October 25 -26 at emirates palace hotel Lt.Col.Maiouf Mohammed Ahmed Al Kotbi ,director of the department of licensing in Abu Dhabi police said ,the department does not charge any fees for plate numbers that are purchased from the auctions. He also said that the owners are free to sell those numbers and relinquish them in return of Dhs 1,000.
