Abu Dhabi Police Staff expressed the pride they take in their higher leadership, reaffirming their support to the country and its achievements in all fields. During celebrations organized in different police departments to mark the UAE 41st National Day, they stressed that the occasion reflects the outstanding achievements that granted the UAE its prestigious status on the international scene.
The National Day celebrations were organized at the various departments and directorates at Abu Dhabi Police. Major General Staff Obeid Al Hiri Salim Al Kutbi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police attended the celebrations organized at the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department. Staff members expressed their joy on the occasion of the National Day and its significant achievements in progress and construction.
The ceremony was attended by Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services in Abu Dhabi Police; Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations; and Brigadier Eng. Hussein Ahmed Al Harthi, Director of Traffic and Patrols Directorate, in addition to a number of high-ranking officials.
Colonel Ibrahim Al Shamsi, Deputy Director of the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department said: “today we celebrate our country’s glorious past and its bright present, which further flourishes under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi.”
He added in his address at the ceremony: “the National Day makes every UAE male and female national proud of their country and of the comprehensive development that was achieved in all fields. We pray to Allah Almighty to preserve peace and stability in our beloved UAE.”
Major General Al Kutbi participated in planting the Union’s Tree in the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department courtyard. He also signed the Loyalty and Affiliation Covenant, and toured the exhibition organized by the Directorate; showcasing the different development stages of the driving licenses and plate numbers processes.
Major General Staff Obeid Al Hiri Salim Al Kutbi along with Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi and Brigadier Eng. Hussein Ahmed Al Harthi cut the 41st National Day cake, in the tent dedicated for the occasion.
The celebrations also included the oath ceremony presented by a student from the Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care & Special Needs. They also included a performance by a group of female students from Asayel School, in which they expressed their happiness on this occasion. For their part, poets Major Nasser Al Neyadi and First Lt. Hamdan Al Derei recited poems about the country in which they expressed their loyalty to the higher leadership and valued the achievements reflected in the progress and development witnessed by the country.
At the Emergency and Public Safety Department of Abu Dhabi Police, Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations attended a celebration marking the 41st National Day. The celebration was attended by the department’s staff.
Lt. Colonel Muhammed Ibrahim Al Amri, Director of the Emergency and Public Safety Department delivered a speech, highlighting the progress and development of the country and the achievements made under the wise leadership of the UAE. He stressed his pride in the country and its leadership, who provided a prosperous and decent life for both nationals and residents.
