Under the patronage of the Ministry of Interior, the "999" magazine has celebrated on Tuesday the release of its annual book, titled “Kulluna Khalifa”, which means (We are all for Khalifa), at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
The society and security monthly, published by the Ministry of Interior, has published the book d on the occasion of the UAE 40th national day.
In attendance were Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary - General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minster and Ministry of Interior, Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services at Abu Dhabi Police also head of the 999 magazine development committee, representatives of the sponsoring institutions and a number of personalities and media personnel.
Al Nuaimi assures that Lieutenant General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior pays big attention to the magazine, the UAE oldest magazine, which has changed from a security one to a social and cultural.
Sheikh Saif is regular reader of the magazine and always suggests new features to be added. A supplementary titled "police community" and contains the news and information of Abu Dhabi police personnel has been recommended by Sheikh Saif.
Major General Badran praised the support of late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and later by Lieutenant General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior to the magazine since it was launched.
This support, he affirmed, has contributed to the tremendous leap the magazine has witnessed to keep up with the march of excellence of the Ministry of Interior and Abu Dhabi Police GHQ.
He also stressed that the magazine development committee and the staff members are working to translate this higher support into continuous developments in editing and layout, whereby the magazine remains one of the most important police publications inside the UAE and abroad.
For the third year in a row, the magazine kept celebrating the glorious national day by publishing a book that contains the achievements made by the country in all development fields during the year as well as the achievements of the ministry of interior and Abu Dhabi police which contributed to enhancing security and stability being witnessed by the UAE, pointed out Lt Colonel Awadh Saleh Al Kendi.
The festivity included national and heritage shows and songs played by the police music band.
Major General Al Nuaimi handed out trophies and apperception certificates to the sponsoring entities.
