Saaed Traffic Accidents Reduction Society invites community members to join its membership

 

Saaed Traffic Accidents Reduction Society has invited interested citizens and residents to join its membership. They can register during working hours at the Society Headquarters at Khalifa City (A) in Abu Dhabi.

This statement is made by Maryam Al Ahmadi, Executive Manager of the Society and Supervisor of committees work progress. Nominations for committees' chairmanship will be opened soon. The number of committees is 11:

Committee for Membership

Committee for Public Relations

Committee for Dissemination of Traffic Culture

Committee for Driver's Rights and Duties

Committee for Studies and scientific Research to reduce traffic accidents

Committee for Accidents Victims Follow up

Committee for receiving the Public Complaints

Committee for Media

Committee for Laws

Committee for Traffic Needs of disabled="disabled" Persons

Committee for Adoption and Implementation of Scientific Ideas

The Society, within the framework of its social responsibility, seeks to contribute effectively to reduction of traffic accidents until we reach an accident-free community. Membership is open for everybody and for those who want to participate in the Society Committees work, for a safe community and free of physical disabilities resulting from traffic accidents. Interested persons are requested to submit their applications and fill the prescribed form. Duly completed applications forms will be submitted to the Board of Directors during the next meeting to review approve them.

The required documents and fees, according to the Ministry of Social Affairs instructions, are: Photocopy of passport (Photocopy of valid residency for expatriates), Family Book for citizens, 2 photos, CV and Good Conduct Certificate. The fees are: Dh500 for full membership, Dh300 for associate membership and Dh50 for Institutes, colleges and universities students.

The Society was promulgated by the Ministry of Social Affairs through the Ministerial Decision Number 189 of 2010, on 26/04/2010, as a public utility society which works to solve traffic problems faced by the community. The aim of promulgation of the Society is to achieve the noble objectives of the Society, to serve the community and to enhance traffic safety.
