A huge crowd of camel lovers attended the events of Razeen Camel Beauty Festival which kicked off last Wednesday under the patronage of Lt. General H.H Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minster and Minster of Interior, and the presence of Major General Nasser Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs and Faraj bin Homooda, former National Federal Council member and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Economic Council.
Al Menhali expressed his appreciation and pride over the efforts of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and his brothers the emirates rulers for their huge interest in festivals which boost heritage. He also appreciated the support given by General His highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme commander of the UAE armed forces and the continuous care from Lt. General H.H Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minster and Minster of Interior
Every single part of the event has been covered by cameras in a bid to keeping such beauty printed in the memory of the nation.
Attendance was not merely limited to the camel owners taking part in the contest, rather it was attended by massive audience including officials and dignitaries who show up to emphasize that they are still sharing late Sheikh Zayed in his interest in the genuine Arabic heritage.
The names of camels have literal, abstract and beauty indications which reflect the good spirit of nomadic tribes and express their admiration to these beautiful creatures which make them feel happy and proud with their heritage.
