MoU signed by Abu Dhabi Police and London Metropolitan
Abu Dhabi Police and the London Metropolitan Police will boost their joint cooperation in areas as diverse as public relations, community police, training and exchange of expertise and information
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed here by Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Director General of Human Resources, Abu Dhabi Police, Sir Paul Stephenson, and Commissioner for the London Metropolitan Police.
Present at the signing ceremony were Colonel Mohammed bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, director general of Strategy and Performance Development, Colonel Othman Al Khori, office manager of Human Resources Director General and Major Bashshar Khalil Badran, Chief of Strategic Planning Section, Abu Dhabi Police.
Al Menhali affirmed Abu Dhabi Police's keenness to implement directives by Lt.General H.H Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, for upgrading performance of the police forces in line with the government strategy for achieving advanced level of progress so as to enhance security and stability of the society and enforcement of justice and rule of the law..
Al Menhali said he met with the London top police commander to explore avenues of joint cooperation in several police and security issues of common interest.
