Demonstration of rescuing an injured person
from the wreck of his vehicle by Al Ain Police
Among huge public presence the Rescue and Ambulance Team of Al Ain Emergency and Public Safety Section, on the side of the aerobics show, has carried out a practical demonstration of how to rescue an injured person from the wreck of a vehicle skidded and overturned. The Team cut the vehicle by use of special tools and released the injured individual and provided him with first aids on the accident site, imitating a real traffic accident.
The demonstration, Supervised by 1st Lt. Khamis Salim Al Saaedi, attracted the public attention and admiration.
According to Lt. Colonel Mohammad Ibrahim Al Amri, Head of Emergency and Public Safety Section at Al Ain, the demonstration is intended to acquaint the public with how rescue and ambulance men handle fires and different accidents. The Medical Crew distributed a questionnaire to the public to measure their satisfaction with services delivered by the Section. The Section has witnessed big turnout during its three days due to the free medical services it provides, diabetes and BP checks. Commemorative gifts were distributed to the public, as well.
