In presence of Lt. General His Highness Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior; the Civil Defense Academy at the Ministry of Interior and Tawazun Holding signed today, Tuesday, a cooperation agreement in training and specialty sectors.
The agreement was signed at Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters by Major General Rashid Thani Al Matroushi, UAE Civil Defense Acting General Commander in Chief, and Chairman of Civil Defense Academy, and by Saif Mohammed Al Hajri, CEO, Tawazun Safety, Security and Disaster Management City project at Tawazun Holding.
Lt. General His Highness Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, praised these national initiatives that enhance the values of cooperation and inter-local partnerships to serve the public benefit. His Highness expressed his confidence in such ties, and their ability to improve the safety levels and preserve the civilized achievements that the country’s leadership is always seeking.
This agreement comes as part of both parties’ keenness to establish a cooperation partnership to make the most of the available capabilities and expertise, in order to enhance the capacities to protect public social facilities and vital infrastructure. This agreement will allow both sides to address, in a high-level of flexibility, all challenges that could hinder the progress and construction process witnessed by the country.
The signing ceremony was attended by Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of H.H. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior; Major-General Matar Salim Al Niyadi, Director General of Electronics and Telecommunications Services at the Ministry of Interior; Major General Ali Mohammed Al Ka’bi, Military Advisor to His Highness, Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces; Colonel Pilot Ali Mohammed Al Ahbabi, Director, Office of His Highness Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces; Rashid Lekhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Federal Demographic Structure Council; Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Daheri, Director General of the Headquarters Affairs of Abu Dhabi Police; Colonel Mohammed Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Director General of Civil Defense in Abu Dhabi; Colonel Hilal Aida Al Mazroui, Director of Public Safety and Quick Intervention Department at the General Secretariat of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; in addition to a number of high-ranking officers.
