Abu Dhabi Police Medical Department to become a center of issuing
international certificates for musculoskeletal diseases shortly
Director of Medical Services Department at Abu Dhabi Police, Brig. Salim Saleh Al Junaibi, affirmed that the department will be a center for issuing internationally recognized certificates in detection and treatment of musculoskeletal diseases by the use of ultrasound.
The remarks were made during the final session of works of second basic course in the diagnostic use of ultrasound in musculoskeletal system which was recently organized by the Medical Services Department at Abu Dhabi Police at Fairmont Bab al Bahar, Abu Dhabi.
He noted that the conferences has added a lot to the specialists in this field and promoted the position of Abu Dhabi Police.
Lecturers from the UK, Belgium and Spain have praised the advanced rank reached by Abu Dhabi including its huge material and human capabilities, which made it a real competitor and a destination for lots of trainees.
The participating doctors, some of whom came from abroad mainly to attend the conference, noted that they have benefited a lot, and that the conference has changed their practices in diagnosing musculoskeletal diseases.
For his part, Dr. Ayman Fahim, Acting Consultant Orthopedic and course director pointed out that the conference has attracted its target number of participants in current stage. Next time, he said, two simultaneous courses will be held, one is basic and the other is medium, in preparation for the advanced course before inviting the European Forum to be hosted by Abu Dhabi under the patronage of Abu Dhabi Police GHQ.
