Abu Dhabi Police, represented by the Community Police Department, began implementing the Community Service Centers' project in the areas of Al Shamkha and Al Fallah. The centers are designed to provide services to residents of these areas, increase their cultural level, boost their sense of belonging, and increase their sense of social responsibility.

Lt. Colonel Mubarak Bin Muhairom, Head of the Community Police Department, noted that such centers embody the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters' directives, which stress the need to provide young people and teenagers' with useful activities to do in their leisure time, being the real wealth of the nation and the pillars of the UAE's future. "Young people have the duty to protect the security and stability of society, and maintain its prosperity to become the best in the world," he added.

Lt. Colonel Bin Muhairom emphasized the importance of such centers in enhancing the bonds between young people in their residential areas and offering them a variety of useful social and leisure time recreational activities. This is achieved through comprehensive partnerships with relevant entities.

"These centers seek to develop the skills and creative ideas of community members by enhancing their sense of belonging to the homeland and allegiance to the leader, as well as instilling security education and social awareness among them. The centers are also an appropriate environment conducive to developing strong bonds between community members. They contribute to enhancing confidence and interaction between society and police members, by sharing their interests, helping them solve their daily issues, and they provide the suitable areas of recreation for all family members," he continued. At the end of his speech, Lt. Colonel Bin Muhairom expressed thanks to the Abu Dhabi Municipality for providing the land to establish the centers.

For his part, First Lieutenant Salem Omar Al Kathiri, in charge of the Community Service Centers in Al Shamkha and Al Falah, explained that establishing community centers in Al Shamkha and Al Falah is important achievement, as it provides cultural and recreational areas where young people can practice their favorite activities and spend their leisure time usefully.

"More than 3 thousand individuals living in the area benefit from these centers, which host summer and school vacation activities all year long. These activities include English learning courses, religious and awareness lectures, and discussion groups about different social issues, in addition to sports activities supervised by a sports experts and trainers," he concluded.
