A delegation from German Police discusses training cooperation with Abu Dhabi Traffic Department
Colonel (Engineer) Hussain Ahmed Al Harthi, Director of ADP Traffic and Patrols Department has received recently a visiting delegation from the German Police comprising Flokker Flinshoak, Holaghar Tronc, Martin Countess and Andigeryass Hanchel within the framework of strengthening relations with police organizations in developed countries and making use of their expertise in promoting all traffic aspects and training human cadres.
Al Harthi welcomed the visiting delegation confirming the strong ties between ADP and the Germen Police Force in all areas, especially in training areas. He affirmed the importance of continuity of such visits to enhance joint cooperation horizons in respect of manpower training in all traffic fields.
He also affirmed the attention that ADP pays to the models of other nations in modern traffic systems and solutions implemented to curb traffic accidents and the resulting deaths and injuries.
Colonel Khamis Ishaq Mohammad, Deputy Director of Traffic and Patrols presented a detailed explanation for the organizational structure and strategy of the Traffic and Patrols Department, and the goals that the Department seeks to achieve. Colonel Hamad Mubarak bin Eitheith Al Amri, Director of External Roads Department and a number of officer were present during the visit.
The delegation toured the Section of the Department and Traffic Institute in Al Ain, where they acquainted themselves with tasks of the Comprehensive Police Stations in traffic areas.
At the end of the visit Mr. Flokker Flinshoak, on behalf of the delegation, expressed his appreciation of the distinguished relationship between ADP and German Ministry of Interior, Commemorative gifts were exchanged.
