The Ministry of Interior and Abu Dhabi Police awarded 79 Officers with their new ranks. The officers were included in the Ministerial Resolution No. 398 for the year 2012 issued by Lt. General His Highness Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior.
Brigadier Fares Khalifa Al Farsi, Director of Guards and Special Tasks Department at Abu Dhabi Police, awarded the newly promoted officers with their new ranks at his office, in a ceremony attended by Colonel Ahmed Al Shehi, Deputy Director of Government and Diplomatic Facilities Protection Department.
Al Farsi emphasized Abu Dhabi Police’s keenness to develop the capacities of officers and provide them with the latest sciences and advanced training, so as they perform their tasks efficiently. He noted that the attention given to the human cadre contributed in making Abu Dhabi Police at the forefront of distinguished institutions.
Moreover, Al Farsi said that Abu Dhabi Police has achieved a global resonance in efficiency, for the development it enjoys, and the distinguished security services it is offering, in addition to its community and humanitarian services.
Al Farsi congratulated the officers included in the promotions, wishing them further efforts and dedication in the performance of their duties, and in fully shouldering their responsibilities and promoting the concept of modern police.
In the same context, Colonel Dr. Rashid Sultan Al Kheder, Acting Director General of the Undersecretary Diwan at the Ministry of Interior, awarded four officers from the Diwan with their new ranks. The four officers were also included in the Ministerial Resolution.
Al Kheder wished the officers included in the promotions further progree and success, and urged them to continue their efforts and collective work with their police colleagues, in line with the spirit of team work, in order to provide distinguished police services.
The promotion included Major Saeed Salem Al Khaili, Major Salem Rashed Al Neyadi, First Lt. Hamid Abdulrahman Al Shehhi, and First Lt. Muhammed Sultan Al Shamsi.
The ceremony was attended by Lt. Colonel Ahmed Saeed Al Mazrouei, Director of International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Interior.
Colonel Khamis Musabah Al Marar, Director of Ports and Airports Security Department in Abu Dhabi Police awarded 46 officers with their new ranks, in line the Ministerial Resolution No. 398 for the year 2012, in the lectures hall at the Forensics Evidence Department.
Al Marar congratulated the officers and commended their efforts and commitments in performing their security duties. He also praised their personal and technical capabilities in executing their tasks and implementing the police developmental plans and strategies.
The promoted officers expressed their insistence to continue their hard work in reflection of their loyalty towards their country, and in line with their endeavor to achieve excellence in all security and police work; so as to achieve the aspirations of UAE nationals; support security in the country, and reach the highest levels of satisfaction in terms of police and security services provided.
