The Tactical Affairs and Security Media Department at the Secretariat-General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minster and Ministry of Interior prepared a collection of awareness television clips named ( security media eye)  to be aired for one month on  the first Abu Dhabi TV popular  Uloum Al Dar (local news) Bulletin as from tomorrow.

Deputy Director of Tactical Affairs and Security Media Lt Colonel Saeed Al Khajah indicated that the clips address how various police departments deal during real accidents being filmed by security media patrol vehicles, such as traffic accidents, fire, rescue, ambulance, among others.

The clip, each of which is 40 seconds, carries a security awareness message for the public to enhance their awareness of the public safety standards.

He said that the Security Media Department was keen to enhance cooperation with the "Abu Dhabi Media" in general and Abu Dhabi TV channel, in particular, as a strategic partner to spread the media security awareness message, to promote security and safety in the country and to educate the public through the Uloum al Dar local news bulletin, thus reaching the largest possible number of different categories of the public, especially young people. This widespread bulletin is the best way to reach this audience group audience and communicate with it.

The vehicle patrols of the Security Media is equipped with modern technical means and staffed with Emirati personnel. It is an unprecedented initiative, in the region, that is meant to cover the island of Abu Dhabi round the clock, in order to provide media professionals with the most accurate pictures and details for the important events, added Al Khajah.

We have four patrol vehicles that roam the island of Abu Dhabi round-the-clock, and receive reports from the central operations room of Abu Dhabi Police, he said, pointing out that Emirati qualified team works on those patrols alternately.

For his part, Abdul Rahim Al Bateeh, Director of the News Center, Abu Dhabi Media praised the  big cooperation and coordination between the Security Media and the News Center, which has achieved common goals for the development of the media security message and provide it with the live and interactive events, which reflect the efforts and performance of the police, and their role in maintaining the security and people's lives and upgrading the security culture and awareness; in order to be partners in maintaining the security and stability of the country.

Awareness clips will be initially aired daily on the Uloum Al Dar News Bulletin for one month, pointed out Al Bateeh. Airing of the clips on the Abu Dhabi TV channel will be extended in the near future, he further added.
