Western region Police takes part in the “cultural caravans” program at Al Marfa

The Western Region Police have completed preparations to take part at the “cultural caravans” program to be hosted by the Western Region City of Al Mara, during the next Thursday and Friday.

The program aimed at disseminating cultural and intellectual awareness among the people of the region.

“The Directorate has explored its participation in the event so that it can embodies its role as an active partner in the Western Region”, said Brigadier Hamad Saeed Al Dhaheri, director of the Western Region Directorate in a meeting held for this purpose.

All police agencies have completed preparations to receive the cultural caravans and ensure the safety of the program which will be held at the Al Marfa public park. They will contribute to the program by delivering awareness lectures and police competitions, explained Al Dhaheri.

Al Dhaheri also said, “Spreading and maintaining the culture of the society is one of the characteristics of maintaining the society”.

He called on the members of the public in the Western Region who are participating in the program to commit themselves to cooperation with the police agencies operating at the venue. He also urged them to be alert while driving, and observe the speed limit on internal roads.
