New Naturalization and Residency Office opens at Al Khazna
Col. Saeed Salem Salmeen Al Shamesi, Director of Residency and Foreigners Affairs Department in Al Ain has inaugurated the new Al Khazna Naturalization and Residency Office at the premises of the Municipality at the Al Khazna Area, in the presence of Dr. Hamad Al Nuaimi, Director General of Al Ain Municipality and a number of officers.
The office was inaugurated as per the directives of the police leadership, and keen follow-up of Major General Nasser Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Assistant Undersecretary of Naturalization, Residency, and Ports Affairs, within the strategy of the Ministry of Interior which aims at simplifying procedures, and providing quick and easy access to the service.
Colonel. Al Shamesi said that the Office started providing services to the public, and this included issue of entry permits, renewal of residence, issue of passport and other transactions concerning Emiratis.
He said that the Department has made previous steps in this respect, and opened seven external offices at different parts of Al Ain including Al Wagan, Mazyad, Al Heer, Suwaihan, Al Maqam and Al Yahar, as well as the recently opened office at Al Khazna. This has come within an integrated project of cover all remote areas, and reaches the members of the public where they are.
