The General Directorate of Electronics and Telecommunications Services at the Ministry of Interior celebrated the graduation of four specialized technical and administrative training courses, attended by 65 officers, non-commissioned officers, constables , civilians and female staff members from the different directorates general  and departments at the ministry. The courses, organized by the Technical Training Department at the General Directorate of Electronics and Telecommunications Services, included the fourth course on “Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)”; the first course on “ISA/TMG firewall Networks”; the fourth course on “Modern Methods of Team Building and Team Spirit Development”; and the 11th course on “Supervision and Follow-Up Skills Development”.

Colonel Salah Ahmed Mireich, Director of Technical Support Department, and Lt. Colonel Ahmed Hamid Al Suwaidi, Chief of Technical Training section, attended the ceremony; along with a number of officers from the General Directorate of Electronics and Telecommunications Services at the Ministry of Interior.

In his speech on the occasion, Colonel Salah Mireich emphasized the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to raise the efficiency of its human cadre, improve their performance and develop police work. This embodies the ministry’s strategy aiming at qualifying and training its human cadre to keep abreast of changes and developments taking place in the world in all areas. He also called on the graduates to double their efforts to improve performance and achieve excellence, wishing them luck and success in their career.

Moreover, he indicated that organizing the fourth course on “Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)” and the first course on “ISA/TMG firewall Networks” is in pursuance of the police leadership’s directives to qualify and train the Ministry of Interior’s human cadre and officers and non-commissioned officers on skills and competencies related to their different work fields. Concluding, he noted that such specialized courses come in line with the Ministry of Interior’s training plan.

At the end of the ceremony, Colonel Salah Mireich accompanied by Lt. Colonel Ahmed Al Suwaidi distributed certificates to the graduates.
