Cup of director general of Guards goes to Government Facilities Department

Government and Diplomatic Facilities Department at Abu Dhabi Police won the Cup of Director General of Guards and Special Tasks for Swimming with 152 points. The second place went to the Special Tasks Department with 109 points.

The event was attended by Lt. Colonel Aref Al Shamesi, director of Clubs and Sports Department and a number of police officers.

Swimmer Saeed Al Rasemi, from Government and Diplomatic Facilities Department, came first in 50 meter chest, and followed by Abdul Ali Al Hafiz, from Special Tasks Department. The third place went to Abdullah Mohammed Salim, from Government and Diplomatic Facilities Department.

Al Shamesi honored the winners and stated that swimming is one of the sports which boost fitness levels especially for those working in police and security fields.
