The Al Khalidiya Police Station of the Capital Police Directorate has started providing services to the public at its new premises, located in the Al Manaseer area, along Haza bin Zayed Street, near Abu Dhabi Cooperative Society in Al Bateen.
Brigadier Maktoum Al Shareefi, Director of the Capital Police Directorate indicated that the station’s new building was built as per the best engineering designs and modern rigorous standards for police stations’ construction. He added that the new headquarters location in downtown Abu Dhabi provides customers with better and easier access to services.
Moreover, Al Shareefi stated that the new modern building is the first comprehensive police station building to be completed as part of the Capital Police Directorate police stations. “The new station has already begun providing services to the public. This reflects the police leadership’s keenness and commitment to provide an ideal work environment,” he continued.
Brigadier Al Shareefi pointed out that work is underway and near completion on the two new buildings for the Al Shaabiah and Al Madina police stations, according to international-best standards and specifications adopted in this regard. Furthermore, he stressed the Abu Dhabi Police commitment to develop and improve all services provided to citizens and residents alike.
For his part, Lt. Colonel Muslim Mohammed Al Ameri, Director of the Al Khalidiya police station noted that the new headquarters provides a healthy work environment, being ideally located in the heart of the Al Khalidiya police station’s jurisdiction. Moreover, he added that the new building is located in the Al Manaseer area, along Haza bin Zayed Street, near Abu Dhabi Cooperative Society in Al Bateen. It is a three-storey building with enough parking spaces for customers. All branch offices and police sections at the station have been equipped according to the latest international systems.
