The Department of Social Support Centers of Abu Dhabi Police contributed in sponsoring and organization the second Art Expertise Forum, with the participation of more than 14 basic education schools. The Forum was held at the Police Officers Club in Abu Dhabi, in coordination with the Abu Dhabi Education Council, Halima Al Sa'diah Primary School, and the Red Crescent Society.

The Forum was attended by a large number of officers and police employees, in addition to Abu Dhabi schools teachers and students. The forum also saw the participation of a number of highly celebrated artists in the country, namely; Abdul Qadir Al Raes; Najat Makki; Mohammed Sultan Al Ghaithi; and Abdullah Al Hammadi.

The Forum aims to exchange expertise between professional artists and art teachers, as well as to enhance artistic competence by applying distinguished practices to develop students’ talents and hone their knowledge.

The events included an art exhibition showcasing many fine paintings. A number of external and internal art workshops were organized, in addition to several workshops to develop this expertise in form and in substance.

For her part, Ibtihal Juma Al Hosani, the art teacher at Halimah Al Sa'diah School, hailed the social role of the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ; represented by the Department of the Social Support Centers. She also pointed out that by sponsoring educational and social activities; the Department enhances the relationship between the police and the community. In conclusion, she expressed her thanks to the two teachers Amal Al Hosani and Nehma Al Wakil; for their efforts in ensuring the success of the second Art Expertise Forum.
