The Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters launched the Knowledge e-Club Portal, as a part of the workshop held recently by the Strategy and Performance Development Department.

Major General Dr. Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, emphasized the significant attention dedicated by the police leadership to knowledge management, due to its instrumental role in boosting staff members’ performance and efficiency. He also pointed to the leadership’s commitment to linking this knowledge with modern technology and social media, with the aim of promoting better participation and communication between leaderships, departments and employees. Adding further, he noted that the portal will facilitate the spread of knowledge and information via the internet, providing e-services to employees as well as linking with other e-systems.

The launch was attended by Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services; Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Assistant Undersecretary of Resources and Support Services; Brigadier Sheikh Mohammed bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Director General of Security and Ports Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police; Brigadier Obeid Salem Rashid Ali Al Ketbi, Director General of Human Resources at Abu Dhabi Police; Colonel Mohammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Strategy and Performance Development Director General at the Ministry of Interior; as well as a number of senior officers. The ceremony took place at the Forensic Evidence Hall at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters.

Captain Ashayma’ Taleb Hussein, Chief of the e-Club Section at the Strategy and Performance Development Department gave a presentation showcasing the objectives and evolution of the Knowledge e-Club, as well as its different portals, services and statistics.
