The Directorate General of Traffic and Patrols at Abu Dhabi Police enhanced its relationship with strategic partners to highlight the tasks undertaken by the Directorate to serve the community and provide sustainable traffic safety on the roads. This comes in line with the methodology of communicating with partners and the priority of making roads safer, and embodies the traffic safety strategy of Abu Dhabi Police.

Major Khalid Mohammed Al Fil, from the Public Relations Department at the Directorate General of Traffic and Patrols at Abu Dhabi Police, and Head of the community-based initiatives team in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi for the “Together” campaign, stressed the keenness of the Directorate to participate in all community events. Moreover, he indicated that the Directorate had recently participated with a traffic pavilion in the “Strategic Partners Forum”, organized by the municipality of the city of Abu Dhabi at Khalifa Park. During the forum, participants and the public were briefed on the Directorate’s strategic priority, its initiatives, the services provided inside and outside the Directorate, as well as the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ’s website.

He added: “The Forum acquainted partners with the new community-based initiatives recently launched by Abu Dhabi Police Traffic and Patrols Directorate, within the Abu Dhabi Traffic program to reduce traffic accidents, titled "Together". The initiatives include “the best young driver” initiative, aimed to educate young people about traffic,  and encourage them to  comply with traffic laws; “the Best Family Abiding with Traffic Rules” initiative; “the Best School Abiding with Traffic Rules” that aims to promote safety standards at schools and traffic awareness level among students; as well as “the Best Labor Camp Abiding with Traffic Rules” initiative, which aims to raise the level of traffic culture among workers and implement traffic safety regulations”.
