The Police College celebrated the graduation of 21 officers from different sectors at the Ministry of Interior after completing two specialized courses. The courses; “Streamlining Procedures and Developing Work Methods” and “Motivation Methods and Job Satisfaction” were organized by the Officers Training Institute at Al Ittihad hall at the Police College.
The ceremony was attended by Colonel Saif Al Kutbi, Police College Director; Colonel Dr. Ahmad Ali Alkhzimi, Director of the Officers’ Training Institute, along with department directors, heads of sections and a number of officers from the Police College.
Colonel Al Kutbi reiterated the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to develop the skills and competencies of its human staff according to the training plan. This plan, which keeps pace with current developments, embodies the police leadership’s instructions to constantly upgrade the training system and hone officers’ skills.
Colonel Al Kutbi added that the courses aim at granting participants knowledge and skills necessary to identify trends and modern techniques to streamline procedures. “These courses help participants to use tools that contribute in developing work methods and improve productivity, implement practical maps and models to simplify procedures, develop organizational manuals, engineer methods and streamline procedures”, Al Kutbi continued.
Furthermore, the courses focused on providing participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to identify the concept of organizational behavior, highlight the skills of organizational behavior analysis, use the methods and measure job satisfaction and methodologies to motivate and reward employees of the Ministry of Interior.
Concluding the ceremony, Colonel Saif Al Kutbi accompanied by Colonel Dr. Ahmad Ali Alkhzimi, handed over certificates to the graduates, and took commemorative pictures.
