Upon the beginning of the Holy month of Ramada, the Capital Police Directorate organized in its headquarters in Abu Dhabi, a Ramadan Medical Day, for its personnel along with members from other police centers. The event was organized in cooperation with Prime Medical Center and comes under the directorate’s Ramadan program organized during the Holy month under the theme ‘the Month of Good Deeds, alms and Worship’.

The Medical day organized (supervised) by the Public Relation Section, included blood pressure, blood glucose and cholesterol tests, in addition to body mass index (BMI). All tests were done for free for more than 250 individuals, along with free medical consultancy and follow up cards provided by Prime Medical Center.

He suggested organizing a similar event every three months for the benefit of the Capital Police Directorate’s personnel and members of the police centers belonging to the directorate.

The supervising doctor’s advises to the blood presser and diabetes patients urged them to avoid tensions and to practice daily sports during Ramadan. He also gave them food advises regarding Iftar and Sohoor meals. At the conclusion of the Medical Day, Colonel Rashid Al Mismari honored the Prime Medical Center’s representatives with a memorial shield for their participation in this initiative.

The event was attended by Colonel Rashid Al Mismari, Deputy Director of the Capital Police, Colonel Ibrahim Sultan Al Zaabi, Director of Community Police Center, Colonel Ali Ibrahim Al Tunaiji, Director of Al Khalidiyah Police Station, and a number of high officers at the Capital Police Directorate and its Police Centers.
