Brigadier Mohammed Saleh Baddah Al Awadi, Acting Director of Public Affairs Department, Ministry of Interior, gave a lecture titled “What is Personality?” at the Dubai Carmel Private School. The lecture dealt with defining the word “personality” as the ability to interact with people with art, skills, and ethics; for it is the key behind human success, personally and professionally. It also addressed the difference in personality traits between people.
He referred to the existence of four personalities: The Straight/Normal Personality, the Leading Personality, the Disturbed Personality, and the Diplomatic/National Personality; each holding many sub-characters under their own.
He also mentioned the stages of personality formation that is made of several stages: Childhood, Maturity and Adulthood, Later Life and Aging stage. He returned to describe the characteristics of the Leading Personality in the management position; that is the ability to be creative and innovative, make the right decision, give chances to distinguished individuals and develop their capabilities, in addition to many other traits.
Baddah also described the qualities of the Islamic Leading Personality and gave Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him) and his leadership of the Islamic nation, as an example to follow.
At the end of the lecture, Baddah answered all of the questions and inquiries of the students. The school headmistress presented him with a certificate of acknowledgment for the efforts that he exerted during the Security Education Program, which greatly benefitted the students.
