Motorists urged to abide by lane discipline

To avoid road accidents, the Al Ain’s Traffic and Patrols Section called on motorists to abide by lane discipline. Copies of awareness guide were distributed among motorists to educate them about this.

The section is conducting a lot of programs to educate motorists of all nationalities about road safety, said Major Mohsin Al Mansouri, acting head of the Al Ain’s Traffic and Patrols section.

Awareness to abide by lane discipline is one of the stages of the campaign themed “let us work tougher to reducing traffic accidents” while began last March, added Al Mansouri.

He urged motorists to obey traffic rules, abide by speed limits and lane discipline, indicating that motorists failing to abide by lane discipline would fine by AED 200 and receive two black points.
