Awareness campaign on tire safety held in the Western Region
Traffic Section at The Western Region Police Station organized lectures on tire safety for transport companies' officials. The aim of the lecture was to raise their awareness of those individuals in order to avoid traffic accidents.
The lecture was delivered by Lt. Abdul Rahman Al Ali, Director of Traffic Control Branch at The Western region Traffic Section. He stressed the importance of using good tires to avoid accidents caused by tires bursts. He reviewed good tires specifications and heir replacements when they develop any cracks.
The event was a continuation of the campaign launched on 21 June 2009 on the same issue.
