The Abu Dhabi Police Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department announced that it has extended the working hours of its Vehicle Inspection Center at the Aman Building for heavy-duty vehicles in Al Musaffah Area. The center will remain open 24 hours, to allow drivers to carry out the mandatory technical testing of their vehicles anytime.

Colonel Suhail Al Khaili, Chief of the Vehicles Licensing Section, announced that extending the working hours at the Aman heavy-duty vehicle inspection center will cut down on the time required to perform the technical safety tests, and offer the service for a greater number of drivers. The process comes in line with the vision of the Abu Dhabi Police to improve the quality of service, and to ensure the speedy and accurate processing of transactions, so as to meet the increasing demand on such a service.

Colonel Al Khaili stated that the Abu Dhabi Police methodology aims to streamline the delivery of services to customers and to communicate with them via the open doors policy. This can be achieved through the customer service centers that solve any issues they may face, in coordination with 25 other authorities, thus sparing customers the hassle of visiting the relevant government entities.  These centers answer customers’ inquiries about the required documents and procedures via the complaints and suggestions portal on the Abu Dhabi General Headquarters’ website.
