takes part in Red Bull Air Race 2010
Abu Dhabi Police Tourism Section has taken part at the opening round of the Red Bull Air Race held on last Friday and Saturday at the Abu Dhabi Corninche for the sixth consecutive time.
Lt. Colonel Ahmed Darweesh Al Qimzi, head of Abu Dhabi Police’s Tourism Section emphasized that Tourism Police, stemming from their role to encourage the tourism sector, have promoted efforts to provide the convenient environment for the members of the public at the various sites of events.
He said: Tourism Police offered touristic guidance to the public through distributing pamphlets and brochures that promote for tourism in Abu Dhabi. He renewed his call to both tourists and members of the public to abide by the laws, respect local traditions and avoid bad behavior including harassment, breach of public conduct and nuisance. They are also urged to avoid acts of indecency, and respect the feeling of families and tourisms.
