Al Ain Civil Defense Department has introduced safety and protection program service whereby certificates of compliance with anti- fire instructions in facilities and buildings under construction can be issued electronically.
The program has recently been inaugurated by Deputy Director General of civil defense of Abu Dhabi, Colonel Mohammed Abdullah Al Nuaimi.
The newly - launched program enables civil protection and safety department to follow all procedures easily, said director of Al Ain civil defense department, Lt Colonel Rashid Hamar Ain Al Darmaki.
When data are entered in the system, inspectors in the field, through Ipad devices , are able to say whether specifications are met or not before issuing the certificate in a short period of time, he added.
Present at the inauguration ceremony were director of customer service centers department, Nasser Al Harmoudi and a number of police officers at civil defense.
