Over 200 Exhibiters for Security and Safety Middle East exhibition and conference in Abu Dhabi
Cyber crimes and human trafficking are among the issues to be tackled
Top security experts from different countries will present papers at the second Middle East security and safety exhibition and conference on making the world a safer place to live in.
New methods to tackle cyber crimes, human trafficking, money laundering and credit card fraud are among issues to be discussed at the meeting, said Brigadier General Matter Salem Bin Msaed Ali Niadi, Director, of the Directorate of Information systems, Ministry of Interior, speaking at a press conference. Also present at the meeting were Ahmed Humaid Al Mazrouie, Managing director Abu Dhabi National exhibition Company, Dr.Joachim Henneke, CEO of Msse Essen, and Abdullah Ali said bin Sahwa, Chairman of the Conferences scientific committee.
Brigadier General Matar Salem said that the event is being organized with the cooperation of ADNEC and Messe Essen and it will be inaugurated by General Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed forces.
He said that on the personal invitation of Lt. Gen.Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan ,the Minister of Interior ,high level delegation from GCCstates and other Arab Countries as well as International security organizations would take part in the event.
The Ministry of Interiors pavilion this year will be much bigger than the previous one and will be divided into different sections to highlight the achievements of various Police departments as well as technologies applied in security and safety, he said.
New projects to be showcased includes Al Ain Print,e- Gate ,e -Archieval,early alaram,moving communications, Police aviation, civil defence and Iidentity card project, said Brig.Gen Matar Salem.
The UAE Central bank Governor will present his paper on the Countries efforts in preventing money laundering and terror financing, Lt.Gen. Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Commander in Chief of the Dubai Police will speak on public security and the role of security education.FBI will talk about the electronic money laundering and Michael More will present his paper on credit card crimes.
Apart from the security conference a workshop on "technology against terror" will also take place for the first time.
Over 200 exhibitors from 32 countries will show case their security and safety products and services at the four day Middle East security and safety exhibition which will kick of from November 14.
