No e-gate cards for children
 
The Ministry of Interior will not issue e-gate cards at the countries airports to children as the facility is only meant for the adults
 
Brigadier Ahmed Nasir Al Raisi, Director of the central operations department at the General Headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police said that the finger prints of the children would not be clear and there for the e-gate system would not be able to issue cards for them.
 
Every adult and national can obtain the e-gate card from various air ports of the country to enjoy easy passage without checking at the immigration counter to present his passport to get the exit or the entry stamp, he added.
 
He also unveiled the plan for issuing the e-gate card for the visitors to the country. Shortly. Meanwhile, Colonel Dr. Ahmed Al Awadi, Director of the criminal evidence department, explained that the police do not credit the finger prints of the children to determine their identity, because they are not clear enough, there for the department opts for DNA teat to determine the identity of the children.
 
The Ministry of Interior will also start issuing e-gate cards to diplomats accredited to the country to facilitate their easy entry and exit.
