Civil defence strategy discussed
Colonel Othman Usef Al Thamami, director of emergency and public safety department and officer in charge of the civil defence sector at the ministry of interior chaired the meeting to discuss the civil defence strategies.
The meeting also reviewed the achievement of the first quarter of 2008 and the future requirements, plans drafted by each directorate, mechanisms of working and budgets earmarked.
The meeting was also attended by Colonel Abdullah Hassan Ghareeb, director of Abu Dhabi civil defence, Lt Col Jasim Abdullah Hemeid ,Lt.Col. Mohammed Ali Jumarah, Major Sami Khamis Al Naqubi and other number of civil defence officers. The meeting also discussed the agenda for the next quarter and future plans for the civil defence.
