Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior, visited the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Headquarters where he reviewed the workflow and the implementation of the strategy of the Ministry of Interior. He reviewed the efforts made to reduce traffic jams, accidents, fatalities, and crime levels alongside the provision of the best services to the public in accordance with the best international standards.
During his inspection, Lt. Gen. Al Sha’far visited a number of departments at the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Headquarters where he was briefed on the workflow and the actions made for further development. He reviewed the latest equipment and vehicles used in conjunction with the services to enhance police work and further contribute to security and safety. Al Sha’far also toured the recently established building for officers’ training courses, which was named after the martyr Major Tariq Al Shehhi.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Ras Al Khaimah Police in implementing the Ministry’s policy and approach in the field of constant development and improvement; which aims to raise the level of police performance and the various services provided to the public.
Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, said that the visit of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior reflects the attention the Ministry’s leadership pays to pursuing the course of police work and in providing motivation for the personnel to further contribute the development and security of the UAE.
