Central operations room at ADPGHQ received 1,000,227 thousand and 645 calls during the first half of this year, through the emergency number 999 on the level of the cities of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western Region, where the operation room in Abu Dhabi received 801,679 calls and the operation room in Al Ain 357 617 calls, and in the West region operations room received 68,349 calls.
Colonel Nasser Sulaiman Al Maskari, Director of Operations at General Directorate for Central Operations said that Abu Dhabi Police is keen continuously to reduce the response time by using the latest technologies and equipment in the central operations room for being the first responder of communication as part of its strategy to provide the best services to the public in accordance with the best international practices in this area.
Colonel Maskary explained that the central operations room working by receiving calls and identifying the place of the report and then communicate with the party responsible for dealing with the case immediately and take the necessary actions through its human resources that have been trained to communicate with members of the community around the clock.
He explained that the operations room received 1,000,227 thousand and 645 calls during the first half of this year, and has been dealing with these calls in accordance with the procedures followed in the central operations room.
The Director of Operations provided a system to communicate with people with special needs of all categories and to respond to all inquiries via the number of 5999 SMS text messages, that of the keenness of the ADPGHQ to communicate with this important category and meet their needs in response to the directives of the wise leadership, and enhance the civilized image of Police organization in the interest of all segments of community.
