174 illegal's and infiltrators nabbed
The Department of residency violations follow up at the office of the acting assistant Undersecretary for naturalization, residency and Ports Affairs at the Ministry of Interior has launched phase one of the Service Sahim (Contribute).
The public can call on the toll-free number: 80080, in Abu Dhabi to give information about Residency law violators and infiltrators, round the clock. Due to joint efforts of the different departments at MoI, 174 violators and infiltrators were nabbed yesterday.
Major General Nasser Al Awadhi Al Minhali, acting assistant Undersecretary for naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs at the Ministry of Interior said that this step is taken to enforce the laws and regulations of foreigners' entry and residency laws in UAE.
The Department intensified its inspection to detect violators and infiltrators throughout the country. Colonel Saeed Rakan Al Rashdi, Director of the Department urged nationals and residents not to hesitate to call Sahim Service if they have any information about violators and infiltrators.
All Companies and business owners are requested to make sure that residency laws are implemented with responsibility and they should not employ or accommodate any violators or infiltrators.
