Kang Sin-Myeong, the National Police Commissioner of the Republic of Korea, and the accompanying delegation visited the Police College, where they were welcomed by Colonel Waleed Al Shamesi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Police College, alongside heads of departments, chiefs of sections and a number of officers from the Police College.

During the meeting, the attendees discussed various issues of common interest, as well as methods to promote cooperation and exchange experiences in the areas of training and education, between the Police College and the Korean Police.

Colonel Al Shamesi briefed the visiting delegation about the organizational structure of the Police College, its affiliated departments and sections, its tasks and duties, and the educational programs provided by the College to graduate highly-qualified police officers capable of fulfilling the challenging tasks of police and security work. They were also introduced to the e-learning program implemented in the police College.

The National Police Commissioner of the Republic of Korea underscored the Korean Police’s keenness and willingness to enhance cooperation and exchange experiences with the UAE police in various security and police fields.

Towards the end of the visit, both sides exchanged commemorative shields and gifts.
