Under the patronage of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) will celebrate tomorrow morning (Tuesday) the graduation of 490 employees from various governmental sectors in the UAE. The recognized employees are the second batch of Customer Service Excellence Diploma.

The Ministry of Interior has launched the Customer Service Excellence Diploma program in 2014 in cooperation with Etisalat Academy. The program was designed to benefit customer service employees in various governmental authorities.

Colonel Nasser Khadem Al Kaabi, Head of the Customer Service Department at the General Secretariat of HH Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior said that the launch of the Diploma is in line with the directions and the aspirations of the Federal Government. It helps achieve the UAE Vision 2021, to make the UAE one of the best countries globally; especially in providing governmental services. It aims to train and qualify the front line governmental employees, and hone their skills to elevate the provided services in accordance with the highest international standards.

He stressed that graduating the second batch comes as a part of the efforts of the MoI to work with partners and prepare, qualify and develop national competencies of customer service employees, to help utilize them in an optimum way to achieve leadership in governmental services.

Col. Al Kaabi pointed that the Diploma program helps prepare and qualify the customer service employees who will be granted certificates accredited by International Business Training Association (IBTA). The program is available for all customer service employees, who are chosen based on certain conditions and criteria set by the Customer Service Department at the Ministry of Interior.
