Brigadier Saeed Rakan Al Rashedi, Head of Naturalization Department at the Ministry of Interior, was informed about the workflow and services provided by the Naturalization Department for customers in order to streamline their transactions’ procedures. He also stressed the importance of exerting further efforts towards developing work; by providing quality and distinguished services to customers, in response to the directives of the police leadership so as to enhance security and safety as per the best standards of quality and excellence.
These remarks were made by Brigadier Al Rashedi during his inspection visit to the Naturalization Department in Abu Dhabi, as a part of the field visits to the Naturalization departments across the UAE. Brigadier Al Rashedi was received by Colonel Yusuf Al Khouri, Deputy Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi, Lt. Colonel Rashid Al Dhaheri, Deputy Head of the Naturalization Department, heads of sections, and a number of officers at the Department.
Brigadier Al Rashedi also inaugurated the library, which was established as a part of an initiative by the Naturalization Department in Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development, Zayed Centre for Studies and Research, and the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) on the occasion of the World Book Day.
Brigadier Al Rashedi was also briefed by the Deputy Head of the Naturalization Department in Abu Dhabi and heads of sections about the different work procedures for completing customer transactions. He also instructed to help overcome potential obstacles that may impede work, provide integrated services while complying with the conditions and regulations, and to constantly follow-up on the strategic initiatives and excellence projects so as to improve and boost performance. In conclusion, he praised the efforts exerted to provide these services to customers.
Brigadier Al Rashedi toured the department, including the Investigation Section for the Naturalization Affairs; the Personal Status Office; the Front desk and Archive Office; and the Smart Applications Office. He also reviewed the workflow, the adopted procedures to complete customers’ transactions, the data entry software related to the family books registration and issuance and renewal of passports. He also called upon staff members to fulfill their job requirements in a timely and accurate manner, streamline customers’ transactions, and to improve business quality and performance in order to upgrade work standards to the highest levels.
Brigadier Al Rashedi valued the developmental projects and initiatives, which were presented by Abu Dhabi Residency employees, which highlight their role in catering to customers’ needs, in order to ensure they are receiving the best services in the fastest time possible.
