H.E. Major General Mohammed Khalfan Matar Al Rumaithi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Abu Dhabi Police, opened a workshop for women focus groups, titled: “A Strategic View to Support and Meet the Needs of Female Police Staff through their Empowerment.” The General Directorate of Human Resources organized the workshop for female staff members of the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters (ADP GHQ).
The workshop aimed to support, empower and meet the needs of women. It also intended to raise their satisfaction levels, within the scope of applying internal communication methods and innovation at the ADP GHQ.
The Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police stressed their eagerness in providing women with the necessary support and empowering them, as well as strengthening their role in police work, thanks to the skills they have that qualify them to hold leading positions. “Women should combine their efforts with those of men in the journey of development and building, under the umbrella of our wise leadership,” he asserted.
Brigadier Obeid Salem Al Ketbi, Director General of Human Resources at Abu Dhabi Police, clarified that the event is part of a series of events to support the enforcement of the initiative “Our Aim is Staff Satisfaction, Through Them We Achieve Distinction. This initiative was launched by the General Directorate of Human Resources to empower women and to realize our priority of reaching the optimum use of Human Resources.”
Captain Mayada Mohammed Al Dari, of the General Directorate of Human Resources, led a workshop for female staff members of the ADP. The workshop included an environmental analysis of the current status of female staff members, as well as the use of colored focus cards to achieve the desired results.
